The Story

The foundation for CASAL was not laid in a meeting room, but at dinner tables, on hikes, bike rides, and during vacations, where the idea of “the good life” slowly grew into more than a dream.

We are three founders with very different backgrounds, but with one common vision: to create an honest, well-considered, and life-affirming alternative to the classic holiday home.

The idea truly took shape one evening in the square in Sóller. The vacation was drawing to a close, and as so many times before, we sat with a spritz in hand, talking about how quickly time flies on our favorite island – and how wonderful it would be to own a home here. But at the same time, we also knew that we did not want to commit ourselves to one house, one location, and a long list of practical and financial challenges.

Instead, we began to dream of a new concept: to own less, but live more. To combine security and aesthetics with flexibility and freedom. To create a community where people share both resources and experiences – and where the balance between privacy and community makes it all possible.

That’s how CASAL was created. A premium co-ownership concept that provides access to quality of life all year round – without hassle, but with everything that makes life worth living.
