The beaches of Mallorca – from wild nature to tranquil bays
Mallorca is blessed with over 200 of the Mediterranean’s most beautiful and varied beaches. Whether you dream of soft sandy beaches, secluded coves, rocky bays with crystal-clear water, or family-friendly coastlines, the island has it all – and then some.
Along the north and east coasts, you will find wide, shallow sandy beaches such as Alcúdia and Muro, perfect for children and long swims. To the west and southwest, small rocky bays such as Cala Deià and Cala Llamp await, where you can snorkel and have lunch with your feet in the water. And on the south coast, Es Trenc beach stretches out – almost Caribbean in its appearance with white sand and turquoise sea.
What is special about the beaches of Mallorca is that they are not only scenic – they are also an integral part of the island’s lifestyle. Here, people meet for morning swims, picnics in the shade, or evening sun with a glass of wine.
A home in Mallorca is never far from the sea. And that means that spontaneity and freedom are always a possibility – even in the middle of everyday life.
